The Quintessa offers a unique blend of spacious accommodations, including a majestic Main house, cozy Garden Cottage, and a Seaside Suite, alongside versatile facilities designed for unforgettable gatherings, celebrations and unique Whidbey Island experiences.
The Quintessa property, originally purchased by Lyle and Ann Spink in 1992 features a year-around creek and abundant wildlife. The spacious 10,000 square foot home was constructed in 1994 with meticulous attention to detail, including unique ceiling designs, custom cabinetry and a sophisticated heating system.
Over the years, Lyle added several features to the estate, including ponds, a greenhouse, and a separate cottage, creating a versatile venue. After their children were grown, Lyle and Ann decided to downsize, building a similar but smaller home in Langley and opening the big house as ‘Spink’s Ocean View B&B’.
Tessa and Carrie purchased The Quintessa in 2012 and are dedicated to preserving the estate’s beauty and versatility.
“We feel blessed to continue The Quintessa’s evolutionary journey and to have the opportunity to share it with our guests.”
– Tessa and Carrie
